If you have ever wondered what is going on in the world around you, if you have wondered about prophecy and the end times, this is the book for you. I picked it up when a friend told me about it. I had no idea what to expect. I was blown away after the very first chapter.

Joel Rosenberg has been smack dab in the middle of the political arena for many years. His level of political expertise is hard to come by because very few people have had the experiences he has had. Though after a few of what he considers failures in the arena, he tries his had at fiction. What happened after that is history, almost literally.

A great deal of the specifics in his fictional novels started coming true. So much so that he has been called a modern day Nostradamus. Though he refutes the title in his book, no one denies the headlines that came to pass that were ripped straight out of his fiction.

For example, in 2000 he wrote his first book of the series. His opening chapter of the book he has terrorists hijacking a plane and suicide bombing an American city. Because of this America winds up in a war with Saddam Hussein over weapons of mass destruction.

He finished this book a week before 9/11. His second book held much of the same attention as the first. The stories he was writing as fiction were coming true time and time again. He has been featured many talk shows. Larry King and several others have found what he says interesting. In fact, on CNN he was given a full weeks worth of shows and interviews just a couple weeks ago.

He says that all he is doing is taking biblical prophecy and the current state of the world and saying “In order for this to happen, this will have to happen in the world.” Epicenter is his non-fictional piece that explains all the things he has seen come true and what is likely yet to come.

It is an amazing read to say the least. I’ve been watching the headlines everyday since reading this and since it’s publish date in 2006, several things have already happened that he predicts. He says he is taking educated guesses, but I think he is being modest. It seems obvious to me God is using Mr. Rosenberg.

Do not take my word for it. This book is a must read for any Christian. “Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.” Matthew 25:13. These are exciting times and prophecy seems to be playing out right in front of our eyes.
